Congratulations to Gus Nicolosi for qualifying for the State Swim Meet in the 50 free and 100 butterfly. The tournament is Nov 17th & 18th in Sulphur.

Coats for Kids - Now through November 17th, Porter's Cleaners will be collecting donations of new & gently used coats. There is a drop-off box located in the Loyola office. Last year, with your help, Coats for Kids was able to distribute 1500 coats across our cities!

Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if not picked up. **Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up.
Veterans Day originated as “Armistice Day” on Nov. 11, 1919, the first anniversary of the end of World War I. Veterans Day pays tribute to all American veterans—living or dead—but especially gives thanks to living veterans who served their country honorably during war or peacetime Loyola has partnered with an organization to provide hand written thank you cards to local veterans. We could use your help to show how much Loyola supports and appreciates our veterans. Please come to the main office where materials are available to create a letter to thank a veteran. Students who write 10 letters will receive a service hour.
Service Hour Opportunity - The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana is in need of 20 volunteers on Thanksgiving morning to assist with their Turkey Trot 5K. If you are interested, please sign up in the link below:
With Thanksgiving approaching we are filled with thoughts of turkey, pumpkin pie, and dressing. It is a time for us to reflect on our lives, but also give to others in our community. SGA, partnering with Catholic Charities of North Louisiana, is sponsoring a food drive from Tuesday, November 9th until Monday, November 15th. The food gathered will go through to Catholic Charities of North Louisiana to support them throughout the Thanksgiving season. We are asking for the below items to be placed in the cardboard boxes that will be located outside of the main office and gym lobby. Thank you in advance for your support to our community during his holiday season.

The Loyola Uniform Closet is located in the Anderson Building and is accessible to all students and parents during regular school hours. Donations of both new and gently used uniforms are welcome at any time. Blazers are $20 and all other uniforms, including pants, shorts, skirts, ties, polos, Oxford shirts and spirit shirts are $2 each. The closet also has a large assortment of apparel for most Loyola team sports and many clubs. We are also now accepting books that have been used in English and other LCP courses. Books are being sold for $1 each.
