Flyer Alumnus Enters Jesuit Novitiate

Loyola is proud to celebrate John Henry Hobgood ’16, who has entered the Society of Jesus at the Novitiate of St. Stanislaus Kostka in Denver. John Henry joins nine other men in beginning a two-year journey of prayer, study, service, and community life as they discern their call to the priesthood.

After Loyola, John Henry earned degrees from the University of Notre Dame and Boston College and worked in Boston and Washington, D.C. Now, he begins this next chapter of Jesuit formation with the same dedication and generosity he showed as a Flyer.
