REMINDER: FREE DRESS DAY in support of our brothers and sisters at Annunciation Catholic School and Parish in Minneapolis, who have recently experienced a heartbreaking tragedy. In solidarity and prayer, we invite all students to participate by donating a minimum of $5, though greater generosity is welcome and appreciated. Please bring cash to your 5^th period class. 

LUNCH: Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 09.15-09.19.2025.  https://forms.gle/kfAyb2iCxppd2RHe9 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home.  No exceptions.

VOLLEYBALL GAME: Show your support for the Lady Flyer Volleyball Team! Our girls will play Airline at Loyola on September 11th. Theme is “Send the Vikings on Vacation.” Game times are 4:00, 5:00, and 6:00.

FOOTBALL GAME: The Flyers (1-0) travel to DeSoto parish this Friday, September 12, to take on the Logansport Tigers (0-1). The stadium is located at 17228 LA-5, Logansport, LA 71049 and kickoff is at 7:00 PM. Logansport also uses GoFan for their tickets so purchase your tickets in advance here: https://gofan.co/event/4362916?schoolId=LA23474. Tickets are $10 (including fee). Come out and cheer on the Flyers!!!

SUMMER SERVICE HOUR DEADLINE: All service hours performed during the summer break must be submitted on MobileServe by Friday, September 12th. Summer hours turned in after September 12^th will not be accepted.

FRIDAY SNACKS: Students will be able to purchase snacks during homeroom on Friday and will be called out of homeroom to purchase cookies and chips for $1.00 each – please bring cash.

PIPELINE SHIRTS: Pipeline shirts are on sale in My School Bucks for $15 until Friday, September 12.

HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH: Hispanic Heritage month starts September 15, here at Loyola we are proud of the diversity in our school community and want to celebrate it. Students, faculty and staff with any hispanic heritage please email Mrs. Soberal your name and country of heritage by Tuesday 9/16.

STUDENT ID’s: Student ID’s must be worn at all times when a student is on campus. If your ID is lost or stolen, replacements are $22.00 and must be purchased in the Anderson Building. If your ID stops functioning (won’t unlock the doors), please see Mrs. Weeks in the main office.

RESPECT LIFE MONTH DRIVE: In recognition of Respect Life Month and in partnership with Catholic Charities, SGA will be holding a diaper and wipe drive during Homecoming Week. Donations may be brought to room B3.

HOMECOMING DANCE: The Homecoming Dance will be Saturday, September 20 at 8:00 at the LSUS Ballroom. No one will be allowed to enter after 8:30. HOMECOMING GUESTS: If a student plans to bring a date from another school they MUST have a completed GUEST FORM turned in to the Loyola front office for approval by Wednesday, September 17.

PAW PRINT SPRINT: St. Mark's Cathedral School Paw Print Sprint 2025 is looking for volunteers for Saturday, October 25.

FOOTBALL CONCESSIONS: Back again this year, the faculty, staff and students will be running the concession stands at Messmer for Football, Soccer and Lacrosse. We are excited about this  opportunity for students to earn service hours and life experience. We are asking students to sign up for games to sell concessions. The attached form is for the 2025 Football season. We will add the Soccer and Lacrosse schedule closer to their season openers. We will have the full concession stand on the Home Team's side and a smaller temporary concession stand on the Visitor's side. 

We are looking forward to a great year.

Football -Students will receive 5 service hours per Varsity game, if they stay the whole game.
