LUNCH: Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 11.17-11.21.2025. https://forms.gle/Y5JUH5ohuUaXpCPP7 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:00pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
FOOTBALL GAME: The Flyers (8-1) will take the field for the last game of the regular season on Friday November 7th to take on the Northwood Falcons (8-1). Kickoff is at 7:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased in advance here https://gofan.co/event/3912147?schoolId=LA23475 or at the gate with card or mobile pay. NO CASH is accepted at the gate. Tickets are $11 (including fee). Students: You must have your student ID to get in the game for free or you will be asked to pay. Come out and cheer on your Flyers!
CROSS COUNTRY: Congratulations to the Loyola Cross Country Team at the Regionals XC Meet!
The Girls XC Team qualified for State by finishing in 3rd place and was led by Sophia Fertitta, the place Champion with a PR of (19:31.60), followed by Julia Braud (8th), Grace Shepherd (12th), Camille Renda (16th), Sophia Boggs (40th) and Maddie Humphries (47)
The Boys XC Team won Regionals in place with 34 points, led by Mathis Stanberry, who finished (5th), followed by Nick Kampert (6th), Jacques Braud (8th), Eddie Villalba (9th), Carter Spohr (13th), Holt Hamilton (14th) and Dixon Wright (28th). Go Flyers!
SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS, SENIORS: On Monday, November 10 at 10:30, a current cadet from the US Naval Academy will be here to talk to any student interested in the Naval Academy or any other service academy (the application process is the same for all). Juniors and seniors interested in this visit should sign up through Scoir like normal. Sophomores, if you are interested, please email me. You will miss some class time for this visit, so please be responsible. Remember that teachers have the final say on whether or not you can leave class! Students must sign up (or email me) at least 24 hours in advance- I will not allow students to sign up on Monday morning.
FOOD DRIVE: SGA is extending our Food Drive for Northwest Foodbank from November 10th to November 14th. Please bring donated canned goods to B3 before Friday, November 14th to help us put our faith in action.
SPIRIT STORE: Shop our brand new LCP Spirit Store for t-shirts, dri-fit t-shirts, sweatshirts, and more! Store is only open until November 14th at midnight. All items are spirit day approved. Items will be delivered to your child in homeroom after the store closes. We hope parents and siblings will shop as well!

VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION: Loyola College Prep is hosting a Veterans’ Celebration on Tuesday, Nov. 11th - 9:20 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. at Cathedral Of St. John Berchmans. Loyola students will honor our veterans with a Mass, guest speaker and music. There will be a reception following in St. Vincent’s Hall. This celebration is for all parents, family members, alumni and community members.
FUNDRAISER: Flyer Rack and Roll @ Red River Billiards
Date & Time: Wednesday, December 17th | 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: Red River Billiards & Looouisiana Bistreaux 2090 Brookshire Arena Road, Bossier City, LA
Purpose: This fundraiser will support the purchase of dog beds for every classroom, as well as training and ongoing care for Flyer the Beagle, our school’s mascot and therapy dog.
Event Details:
- All Loyola College Prep students, teachers, faculty and parents are invited to attend.
- Everyone is invited to Red River Billiards for an afternoon of fun and relaxation.
- Activities include pool games, prizes, food, and soft drinks.
