Loyola College Prep is proud to celebrate Olivia Michelson, Anna Kisner and Julia Braud, who have been named National Merit Semifinalists, one of the highest academic honors awarded to high school students in the United States.
The National Merit Scholarship Program recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional academic ability. Each year, more than one million students enter the competition by taking the PSAT/NMSQT, while approximately 16,000 students—fewer than one percent of U.S. high school seniors—are named Semifinalists.
Olivia, Anna and Julia earned this distinction based on their outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, placing them among the highest-scoring students in Louisiana. As Semifinalists, they will have the opportunity to continue through the National Merit Scholarship competition and compete for prestigious scholarships.
This achievement is a reflection of their dedication to academics, perseverance and commitment to excellence—qualities that are celebrated throughout the Loyola community.
“We are incredibly proud of Olivia, Anna and Julia,” said Loyola College Prep Principal Dr. Laurie Salvail. “Their achievement is a wonderful reflection of their hard work and dedication, and we are excited to celebrate this well-deserved recognition with them.”
Congratulations to Olivia, Anna and Julia on this outstanding accomplishment. Your Flyer Family is proud of you!
