LUNCH: Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 09.01.2025-09.05.2025.  https://forms.gle/idQUCuFw6nxJeKZ66 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:00pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Beginning this week, the order form is closed to outside email addresses. Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email.** Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home.  No exceptions.

FRIDAY LATE START: This Friday will be our first late start day of the year. The first bell will ring at 8:40 and class will begin at 8:45. We will still dismiss at 2:00.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Reagann Kelly has been nominated for the Shreveport Times Preseason Fan's Choice Cheerleader of the Year. SGA: SGA will be holding a meeting for Freshmen interested in running for SGA during the first half of Lunch on Friday, August 29th in B3.

COLLEGE VISIT: An admissions rep from Rhodes College will be on campus Friday, August 29, at 10:30 a.m.

FAITH: Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors interested in applying to become a Faith Officer for the 2025-2026 school year can pick up an application in Mrs. Hymel’s office, Room 105.

SWIM TEAM: Mandatory swim team meeting Tuesday, Sept 2 second half of lunch in room B5

BUSINESS CLUB: There is a Business Club meeting in Mrs. Goodman’s room (505) on Thursday (8/28) during the first half of lunch open to all students interested.

PARENT ROSARY GROUP: Please join us for the Loyola Parent Rosary group on Wednesdays, beginning at 1:30pm in St. Michael's chapel. Our first meeting will be Wednesday, September 3rd. SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITIES

FIRST BAPTIST FALL CARNIVAL: First Baptist Church School will host its Fall Carnival on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 3:00pm-6:00pm. Please use the sign-up link to volunteer https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A0E44AFAE2BAAF58-58042129-fbcs

AYDEN WADE LINGER MEMORIAL RIDE: This is a family-friendly event that includes a memorial ride, food, music, kids’ activities, and more. This will be the 1^st annual ride on August 30^th from 9am-4pm at Desoto Motorsport Park in Grand Cane. Volunteers are needed to help with setup, directing guests, activity booths, and cleanup. FOOTBALL CONCESSIONS: Back again this year, the faculty, staff and students will be running the concession stands at Messmer for Football, Soccer and Lacrosse. We are excited about this  opportunity for students to earn service hours and life experience. We are asking students to sign up for games to sell concessions. The attached form is for the 2025 Football season. We will add the Soccer and Lacrosse schedule closer to their season openers. We will have the full concession stand on the Home Team's side and a smaller temporary concession stand on the Visitor's side. 

We are looking forward to a great year.

Football -Students will receive 5 service hours per Varsity game, if they stay the whole game.
