LUNCH: Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 10.27-10.31.2025. https://forms.gle/UmBwYyvUPanXFVm77 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:00pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
FOOTBALL GAME: The Flyers (7-0) head to Leonard Barnes Stadium on Friday October 24th to take on the BTW Lions (4-3). Kickoff is at 7:00 PM. BTW uses Local Level Events for their digital tickets so purchase your tickets in advance here https://www.locallevelevents.com/events/details/39776. Tickets are $8.00 (not including fee) in advance and $10.00 (not including fee) on game day. Children 5 and under are free. There will be no cash sales at the gate. CROSS COUNTRY: Congratulations to the Loyola Cross Country Team at the Benton XC Invitational!
The Girls XC Team was led by Sophia Fertitta, who finished in 4th place and set yet another course record for Loyola with a time of 19:49:33, followed by Julia Braud, Camille Renda and Sophia Boggs. All the girls PR and May Brown took 6th place overall in the JV.The Boys XC Team finished in 4th place, led by Jacques Braud, who finished 11th place overall, followed by Nicholas Kampert, Mathis Stanberry, Carter Spohr, Dixon Wright, and Konnor LaBorde. Go Flyers!

FREE SPORTS PHYSICAL DAY: CHRISTUS Health is offering our student athletes an opportunity for a FREE LHSAA physical exam on October 25th at the Christus Trinity Clinic Family Medicine location on 9220 Ellerbe Road, Suite 700, Shreveport, LA. The LHSAA requires all Louisiana athletes to have a physical prior to participating in school sponsored athletics.
There is a link to the packet complete with the LHSAA Medical History Evaluation form as well as the CHRISTUS HIPPA & Consent to treat forms that will need to be completed by parents prior to the event on the Loyola website or download the packet here. Each student athlete will need to have the completed & signed LHSAA Medical History Evaluation form in hand the morning of the event.

VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION: Loyola College Prep is hosting a Veterans’ Celebration on Tuesday, Nov. 11th - 9:20 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. at Cathedral Of St. John Berchmans. Loyola students will honor our veterans with a Mass, guest speaker and music. There will be a reception following in St. Vincent’s Hall. This celebration is for all parents, family members, alumni and community members. We are asking all LCP families to send in pictures of their veteran family members with the family member's name and branch of service to [email protected]. The pictures will be used in a slideshow during the reception. Deadline to turn in pictures on Friday, Oct. 31st
FUNDRAISER: Flyer Rack and Roll @ Red River Billiards
Date & Time: Wednesday, December 17th | 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: Red River Billiards & Looouisiana Bistreaux 2090 Brookshire Arena Road, Bossier City, LA
Purpose: This fundraiser will support the purchase of dog beds for every classroom, as well as training and ongoing care for Flyer the Beagle, our school’s mascot and therapy dog.
Event Details:
- All Loyola College Prep students, teachers, faculty and parents are invited to attend.
- Everyone is invited to Red River Billiards for an afternoon of fun and relaxation.
- Activities include pool games, prizes, food, and soft drinks.
- Tickets: $30.00 per person.
- Students may attend without a parent.
