CROSS COUNTRY: Congratulations to the Loyola Cross Country Team at the Ruston XC Invitational this past weekend!
The Girls XC Team was led by Sophia Fertitta who set a new course record for Loyola with a time of 20:50, followed by Julia Braud, Camille Renda and Sophia Boggs.
The Boys XC Team finished in 7th place led Jacques Braud who set a new course record for Loyola with a time of 17:07, followed by Mathis Stanberry, Nick Kampert, Carter Spohr, Dixon Wright, and Konnor LaBorde.

VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION: Loyola College Prep is hosting a Veterans’ Celebration on Tuesday, Nov. 11th - 9:20 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. at Cathedral Of St. John Berchmans. Loyola students will honor our veterans with a Mass, guest speaker and music. There will be a reception following in St. Vincent’s Hall. This celebration is for all parents, family members, alumni and community members. We are asking all LCP families to send in pictures of their veteran family members with the family member's name and branch of service to [email protected]. SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITIES
ELKS CLUB HAUNTED HOUSE: Each year the Elks Lodge #122 hosts a Haunted House for the community. This year, students have the opportunity to decorate and help with preparing the haunted house for visitors.
The date for the Haunted House is October 25, so volunteering would take place in the evenings in the week leading up to the event.

GARDEN PARK SERVICE OPPORTUNITY: Garden Park activities are every Wednesday, from 3 pm to 4 pm, at 9111 Linwood Avenue in Shreveport. Each week, residents and students are encouraged to participate in different and fun activities. Students will receive 2 hours for each of these visits.

FOOTBALL CONCESSIONS: Back again this year, the faculty, staff and students will be running the concession stands at Messmer for Football, Soccer and Lacrosse. We are excited about this opportunity for students to earn service hours and life experience. We are asking students to sign up for games to sell concessions. The attached form is for the 2025 Football season. We will add the Soccer and Lacrosse schedule closer to their season openers. We will have the full concession stand on the Home Team's side and a smaller temporary concession stand on the Visitor's side.
We are looking forward to a great year.
Football -Students will receive 5 service hours per Varsity game, if they stay the whole game.
