LUNCH: Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 09.29-10.03.2025.  https://forms.gle/2acmjHc2VGdc7raBA - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home.  No exceptions.

FOOTBALL GAME: The Flyers (3-0) head to Independence Stadium this Thursday, September 25, to take on the Southwood Cowboys (2-0). Kickoff is at 7:00 PM. Southwood uses Local Level Events for their digital tickets so purchase your tickets in advance here https://www.locallevelevents.com/events/details/39776. Tickets are $11.14 (including fee). Please note: Caddo Parish has a bag policy for their venues, review the policy here: https://5il.co/2uite.   Come out and cheer on your Flyers!

CHRISTMAS CARD CONTEST: 2025 Christmas Card Contest: It’s time to get creative! All Loyola students are invited to submit designs for this year’s official Christmas Card. To enter, email your design to Mrs. Jordan Harris at [email protected] or drop off a physical copy in the Anderson Building by Oct. 17 at 2:30 p.m.

ART CLUB: If you would like to join the Art Club, the first meeting will be Tuesday during the second half of lunch. It will be in the art room, B-1.

GOLF: Loyola golf will hold an information meeting on Tuesday, September 23 during the second half of lunch. Please meet in the library at 12:40 if you are interested in joining the golf team.

ALUMNI BBQ: Mark your calendars! The Flyer Alumni BBQ is back on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 5–9 p.m. at LCP! For $45, enjoy a steak dinner with all the sides while catching up with fellow Flyers. ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH - We are very excited to have the St. Padre Pio Relics at St. Joseph for veneration October 1st and 2nd from 1 - 8pm each day. We will have a Mass in honor of St. Padre Pio at 6:45pm Thursday evening. 

Reconciliation will be available both evenings

SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITIES

RED RIVER REVEL: Any help is greatly appreciated getting the site ready for opening on Thursday!

We’re looking for volunteers who want to make a difference. Whether you can give a few hours, a day, or help behind the scenes, there’s a place for you. Volunteers assist with everything from site prep, painting faces, welcoming guests, selling merch, supporting artists, and helping with day-to-day festival activities!

NORTHWOOD REUNION: Northwood High School is having a class reunion on October 4^th and needs volunteers. The reunion will be at American Legion from 6:00pm – 10:00pm. Contact Mrs. Johnson if interested. 

PAW PRINT SPRINT: St. Mark's Cathedral School Paw Print Sprint 2025 is looking for volunteers for Saturday, October 25.

FOOTBALL CONCESSIONS: Back again this year, the faculty, staff and students will be running the concession stands at Messmer for Football, Soccer and Lacrosse. We are excited about this  opportunity for students to earn service hours and life experience. We are asking students to sign up for games to sell concessions. The attached form is for the 2025 Football season. We will add the Soccer and Lacrosse schedule closer to their season openers. We will have the full concession stand on the Home Team's side and a smaller temporary concession stand on the Visitor's side. 

We are looking forward to a great year.

Football -Students will receive 5 service hours per Varsity game, if they stay the whole game.
