We are excited to announce that the Templeton Family has generously donated enough money to purchase and transport the statue. We look forward to having the statue in our hallway. Thank you to AddyQuintana for finding this statue and her work on this fundraiser, to the Templeton family and the rest of our donors!
If you are interested in making a donation in the spirit of St. Ignatius of Loyola, our Annual Fund campaign is still open! Click here to help us meet our goal before June 30!

Rising Senior, Addy Quintana, came across the most beautiful statue of St. Ignatius of Loyola while traveling in South Louisiana. She was immediately drawn to the statue because of its impressive size, design, and how much St. Ignatius means to our school.
St. Ignatius was the founder of the Jesuit order which became known for its missionary work, educational, and charitable works. St. Ignatius lies deep in our school’s history, and because of that, Loyola College Prep would be a perfect home for this piece of historical art. It would be a great reminder of St. Ignatius' works and how he inspires us still today to set the world on fire.
The statue stands at an impressive 7.5 feet tall, and comes from Belgium. It’s wood-based with the most beautifully carved details. We are so excited to make this addition to our school entryway!
